Leah Stephens, a senior at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Maryland, earned All-America honors by securing seventh place at the Champs Sports Cross Country Championships at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Stephens covered the 5-kilometer layout in 17:37.0 to help the Northeast girls repeat as team champions for the first time since 1991-92 by a 32-38 margin against the South. She also became the first Maryland female competitor to place in the top 10 since 2016.
